The Chatham Volunteer Fire Department is currently raising
money and making plans for our future building. Our goal is to build the best
station that we can, so that it will last a long time without the need for renovations
or reconstruction. With most projects of this size, there have been problems,
but each problem is being taken care of and we are moving onward as quickly as
we can. We would like to see the building completed and be moved in by 2004.
